SEWER USE BILLS
Nancy Hasselman, Collector of Revenue for the Town Of East Hampton advises that the sewer use bills for the 2009 sewer use year were mailed out September 30, 2009. The period that the 2009 use bill covers is October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010.
The rate for the sewer use is $280.00 and those properties with grinder pumps, are for $370.00. The sewer bill must be paid by November 2, 2009 to avoid any interest. Minimum interest is $5.00. Interest is calculated at 1 ½% per month or 18% annually from the original due date. You may pay in person at 20 East High St, East Hampton CT 06424 or mail your payment to P. O. Box 178, East Hampton CT 06424-0178. If a receipt is requested, please enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope with the payment and both copies of the bill.
